Werkstattbericht
My personal newsletter – the story behind the story. A correspondence with idealists who care about the same topics I do. The name is a German word that doesn't translate cleanly: a workshop report, an honest look inside a craftsperson's bench. I keep the original name in both editions.
What it's about
I like building things. Most of it for the work, some of it private. In Werkstattbericht I share how I do it: where I get stuck, what I try, what works.
Equal room for: tools that make my day-to-day work as a journalist more efficient. Solutions for our home automation. Gadgets I'm testing in real life. Or a new woodworking project – when I build a piece of furniture for our kids.
It's my playground – no editorial product, no fixed plan, no topic drawers. Readers get an honest workshop view rather than the polished end product.
Independent of the Handelsblatt AI Briefing which I edit. Werkstattbericht starts where the briefing ends.
The newsletter hasn't launched yet. Sign up for the waiting list and I'll be in touch as soon as the first issue ships.
Waiting list
How this works technically
You enter your e-mail address here. You receive a mail with a confirmation link (double opt-in, mandatory in Germany). Only after you click the link are you on the list. If you don't confirm, your data is deleted automatically after seven days.
The newsletter runs without tracking and without any external service. Your e-mail address sits only on my server. Unsubscribing works any time with one click on the link in every issue.
